Connecting MATLAB with Python and other Open Source Tools

Scientific ComputingEmployeesStudents Online

Event content

In this workshop you will discover how MATLAB integrates with open-source languages like Python. Also, you will learn how MATLAB can be used within Jupyter, creating a robust ecosystem for solving complex interdisciplinary problems. We'll show in a hands-on manner how you can take advantage of these integrations to optimize your workflow, improve team collaboration, and take your research software projects to the next level.

Office Hour: MATLAB Parallel Computing
Join MathWorks and GWDG for an open Q&A session on Friday, November 21, from 14:00-15:00 (Online). No registration required, the meeting link will be made available to participants of the workshop series.

About the Presenter
Dr.-Ing. Stefan Kerber is part of the Academia Group at MathWorks in Munich. He supports universities in integrating MathWorks tools into research and teaching. Stefan holds a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from TU Munich. During his career he has used MATLAB in various ways to set up experiments on sound reproduction and to study human hearing for normal and hearing-impaired listeners.
